About the Role:
Jerry.ai is seeking highly motivated, early-career software engineers to join our growing team as a Software Engineer I. This is a unique opportunity for recent graduates in Computer Science or related fields who are eager to contribute to a fast-scaling AI-powered startup that is transforming the car ownership experience.
As a Software Engineer I, you will be an integral part of one of our engineering pods—core app, retention, or automation—based on your skills and interest. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to build innovative, user-centric solutions that simplify every aspect of car ownership.
From writing production code early on to participating in the product development lifecycle, you’ll gain hands-on experience while being mentored by engineers from leading tech companies like Nvidia, TikTok, and Cepton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production-grade software across front-end and back-end systems
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver impactful features
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using modern technologies
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews
- Continuously learn and apply best practices in software engineering
- Adapt to new challenges and projects in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Contribute to feature development, bug fixes, and technical improvements
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be located in or willing to relocate to Toronto or the Greater Toronto Area
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
- Strong interest in building scalable, user-first software products
- Comfortable working remotely in a distributed team environment
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt quickly
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Passion for innovation and technology
- Fresh graduates and final-year students are encouraged to apply
Education Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline (completed or expected soon)
