We are seeking a Developer Co-Op for our Mississauga, ON office to contribute to our technology initiatives and gain valuable industry experience.

About the Role:
As a Developer Co-Op, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software solutions that support Holman’s business objectives. This position offers hands-on experience in software development, testing, and problem-solving in a dynamic, industry-leading environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with business units to gather and understand software development requirements
- Contribute to evolving technical standards by introducing innovative ideas from academic and emerging technology trends
- Write, test, and maintain high-quality code
- Investigate, analyze, and document reported defects, ensuring timely resolutions
- Develop and implement test plans to ensure software quality
- Provide accurate time and effort estimates for assigned tasks
- Stay updated on software development trends and best practices
- Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor
Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program in Computer Science, Systems Programming, or Engineering
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Eagerness to learn and apply industry best practices
- Availability to work full-time during the co-op term
Education Requirement:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Programming, or related technical field
Technical Skills Required:
C#, JavaScript, React, TypeScript, Software Testing, Debugging, Problem-Solving, Version Control (Git), Agile Development Practices
