The Fall 2025 internship in Data Management and Analysis offers university students hands-on experience in data analytics, business intelligence tools, and digital transformation initiatives.
About the Role:
As an Intern in Data Management and Analysis, you will be part of a dynamic team contributing to various analytics and digital transformation projects. This internship will give you exposure to real-world business scenarios, tools, and team-based collaboration within the Engineering department. You will support the design and optimization of data models, assist with dashboard development, and gain insight into Bombardier’s aircraft development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist analysts and experts in identifying improvement opportunities through data
- Develop, support, and optimize statistical and analytical models
- Participate in requirement-gathering sessions with stakeholders
- Contribute to internal initiatives, documentation, and project-related tasks
- Use tools such as Power BI, SQL, SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, and other project management platforms
- Adapt to changing weekly priorities using Azure DevOps
- Present project progress, communicate with IT teams, and ensure knowledge transfer
- Attend departmental meetings and contribute to technical knowledge sharing
Eligibility Criteria:
- Open to currently enrolled university students only (not recent graduates)
- Available for an 8-month internship starting Fall 2025
- Must be able to work either virtually or onsite at the Administrative Centre (CA)
- Willingness to travel occasionally outside Canada for training or work assignments
Education Requirement:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
