About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern, Technical Services to join our team from September 2025 to May 2026. This role is an excellent opportunity for students passionate about construction, project management, and sustainable building practices to gain hands-on experience in a corporate environment. You will work closely with the Associate Vice President and Project Managers, supporting various aspects of technical services in commercial and multi-residential projects.
This position offers exposure to construction estimating, project scheduling, tendering, document control, and site meetings while interacting with consultants, contractors, and property managers. It’s a perfect role for individuals who want to apply their academic knowledge to real-world projects while learning from seasoned professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with construction estimating and product research
- Manage and organize project documentation
- Support project scheduling and monitoring activities
- Participate in scope definition, tendering work, and preparing bid analyses
- Attend site meetings, document progress, take minutes, and follow up with trades and consultants
- Communicate with consultants, energy managers, property managers, trades, and contractors
- Contribute to project closeout processes
- Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned
Eligibility Criteria
- Currently enrolled in a Project Management, Engineering, or Engineering Technology program
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Positive, proactive, and eager to learn
- Comfortable taking initiative and working outside your comfort zone
- Interested in Project Management, Decarbonization, and Green Building practices
- Able to work on-site in Toronto, ON
Education Requirements
- Enrolled in a recognized college or university program in Project Management, Engineering, or Engineering Technology
