About the Role
McKesson is seeking a Software Development Intern – Fall 2025 to join our Mississauga, Canada team. This role focuses on QA automation using AI tools to ensure the highest quality software development. You will work closely with senior developers, improve testing processes, and gain hands-on experience in AI-driven automation frameworks. This is an excellent opportunity for students passionate about combining software development with cutting-edge AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior developers to evaluate and implement AI tools for QA automation.
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts leveraging AI.
- Use AI to enhance test coverage and identify testing gaps.
- Analyze automated test results and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Contribute to problem-solving sessions aimed at improving testing efficiency.
- Support improvements to existing test automation frameworks.
Eligibility Criteria
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Software Development, or IT-related field.
- Graduating or in the 3rd year of the program by Fall 2025.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to quickly adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Python and SQL databases.
- Exposure to AI tools, including Generative AI and Prompt engineering.
- C# experience is an asset but not mandatory.
Education Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree (in progress) in Software Engineering, Software Development, Computer Science, or a related IT field.
