About the Role:

KPMG in Canada is inviting applications for internship, co-op, and new graduate positions starting in Winter 2026, Summer 2026, and Fall 2026. These roles are exclusively available to students who self-identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, or Métis) and offer opportunities across multiple service lines, including Audit, Tax, and Advisory.

Positions are available in cities across Canada, including Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Halifax, and many more.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in internship or co-op programs within Audit, Tax, or Advisory departments
  • Work alongside KPMG professionals to deliver high-quality client service
  • Engage in professional development sessions, mentorship, and training programs
  • Attend internal information sessions and networking events focused on Indigenous student career paths
  • Contribute to projects and initiatives that reflect your educational background and career interests
  • Learn to apply emerging technologies and data-driven insights in a business context

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must self-identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, or Métis)
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Enrolled in a post-secondary degree program (Business, Commerce, Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Arts, or related fields)
  • For roles in Audit or Tax, a commitment to completing CPA designation and relevant coursework is required
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated involvement in community or school-based initiatives
  • Ability to adapt to new challenges and strive for continuous learning
  • Written and spoken fluency in English is required

Education Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in one of the following fields:
    • Business or Commerce
    • Mathematics or Statistics
    • Computer Science or Information Technology
    • Engineering
    • Economics
    • Arts or Social Sciences (with relevant focus)

Technical Skills:

Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Google Workspace, Data analysis, Communication tools (Zoom, MS Teams), Accounting software (for CPA-track students), Financial modeling, Research tools, CRM systems, Basic coding knowledge (optional for tech-related advisory roles), Project management tools
