Overview of the Internship Opportunity

IATA is offering an exciting internship opportunity for recent graduates to join its IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) team in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This is a 6-month full-time position designed for individuals passionate about aviation safety and operational excellence. As part of the internship, you’ll support day-to-day administrative functions of the IOSA program and gain real-world experience interacting with global airline stakeholders.

About the Role:

As an Intern – IOSA, you will report to the Senior Manager, Audit Administration and contribute to the operational execution of the IOSA program. You will be responsible for assisting in various administrative and coordination activities while developing your professional and interpersonal skills in a global aviation environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare registration certificates and manage their shipment to customers
  • Assist with contract processing and documentation
  • Support IT platform troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Communicate regularly with external stakeholders and respond to queries via Salesforce
  • Coordinate with internal departments for smooth operations
  • Help prepare ad-hoc reports and documentation as required

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be a recent university graduate (within the last 12 months)
  • Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) for a period of 6 months
  • Highly motivated with the ability to multitask and maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
  • Prior customer service experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and SharePoint is advantageous but not mandatory

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree (completed within the last 12 months) from a recognized university
