About the Role:
NVIDIA is inviting applications for the Software Engineering Internship in Robotics Perception Research for Fall 2025. The selected candidate will join the Omniverse Replicator team, contributing to pioneering research aimed at transforming how simulations are used to train the next generation of robotics models. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience working at the forefront of artificial intelligence and robotics, helping shape autonomous systems for real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement innovative perception algorithms based on synthetic simulation for robotics tasks, focusing on learning efficiency and broad generalizability.
- Develop and maintain benchmarking systems to assess robotic task performance and the ability to adapt to new, unforeseen situations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including GR00T and IsaacLab to test, integrate, and validate new methodologies for robot training.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Students currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, or a related technical discipline.
- Availability to join the Fall 2025 internship cohort as a full-time intern in Toronto, Canada.
Education Requirement:
- Enrolled in a BS or MS program in Computer Science or a closely related field.
Technical Skills Required:
Python, Pytorch, TensorFlow, JAX, Reinforcement Learning, Imitation Learning, Sensor Simulation, Synthetic Data Generation
Additional Preferred Experience:
- Exposure to platforms such as Isaac Sim, Isaac Lab, Isaac Gym, or Mujoco.
- Experience training robotic agents in simulation with successful sim-to-real deployment.
- Contributions to research with publications in top-tier AI and robotics conferences.
